These were so fun! We did an egyptian themed birthday party and I used these as decoration for the sides of the cake.
This mold is very nice for soapmaking. I use it for melt and pour soaps at my business, Eden's Rivers. It is beautiful, detailed, and the soaps always come out clean with no problems.
I've had these for a couple of years now and they are always a hit for baby showers. You can make them with or without the sucker sticks. I always just use all pink or all blue, I'm not meticulous enough to make each part a different color, but they still look adorable!
I did not use the sunflower chocolate mold for making candy. I am a Scentsy independent consultant and make wax samples of our scent of the month to give to my customers using candy molds. This sunflower mold was AMAZING! The samples turned out beautifully. The wax came out easily and the details of the sunflower remained intact. My customers loved them. I'm sure chocolate would look just as lovely, though it probably won't smell as good!
The cameo boxes are a little small for what I thought it was going to be. But the cameo lid is cute,
We made these for Valentine gifts, and they where a resounding success. We used white chocolate for the cameo face and milk chocolate for the rest of it. The deep box part was a little tricky to get unmolded at first but after a couple tries we got it figured out. Don't let your chocolate get too hot. If you don't have a chocolate pot use a heating pad inside a box. Brush the inside of the mold with soft butter ( I suppose you could use coconut oil as well). Put the filled mold in the freezer for five minutes or so and they unmold nicely. Beautiful!
