When I started doing chocolate making I bought all kinds of little flimsy molds for a few dollars and had more frustration than anyhing else most of the time. I saw these molds, but honestly for the price..not worth it. Then I needed a shape not available in flimsy-ware and had to take the plunge on the better stuff. One evening of making candy with these sold me. You don't have to baby them as you can bang them to get the bubbles out, candy looks perfect and the biggest think is even the bottoms are good. You dump your chocolate in, wait for it to set and use a scraper on the bottoms for nice clean looks and bang the molds when needed to release. If you are still using flimsy..you need to try it.

Haven't had a chance to use it yet but took it to my local chocolate shop and they said it would be perfect for my beginning truffle making, firm construciotn, high sides etc. Cna't wait to try it out.
