When I looked at the pictures online, I was expecting each mini rose to be roughly the size of a half-dollar or at least a quarter, but when I got it they were smaller than dimes! They may have been somewhere on the site that gave exact measurements, but I was so excited to find the type of mold that I wanted that I didn't look that closely.

In a nutshell, I found these molds so small that getting the item OUT of it is a challenge...even after spraying it with cooking oil. When they say "Mini" they mean mini. It will completely depend on your need/use as to if these will work well for you. The molds are not very deep, so the large roses are maybe the size of hmmm, not sure...um...half of a dime circle and not even as thick? The smaller ones, maybe a quarter of a dime size? They are so little and thin that it is easy to smoosh the mold trying to get the stuff out, and even easier to have the chocolate or cocoa butter or whatever you put in it melt in your fingertip just in the transfer.I'm not Julia Child, so I might not be the best critic.
